Family owned, friendly. They just wanna talk you up. The food was absolutely amazing. I'm not fond of the downtown area, but I'd make the trip out here again.

Way better than sultans kite. And you get more bang for your buck by far!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Lincoln!! The serving size is great — could definitely share a plate with someone! The food is authentic, prepared fresh, and delicious! Super reasonably priced, too! Also, the cook/owner is the sweetest man ever. I would (and do) recommend this place to everyone!

This is a Lincoln institution. Spicy Z plate, extra tzatziki, extra shake shake. Popular with the drinking crowd. Originals behind the counter. Bathrooms if you need to boot and rally.

The meat was somewhat dry and fried were bland; they could have been cooked longer.

My husband and I were craving gyros and went to go to parthenons, and they were closed. I had my mind set on gyros so I googled gyros in Lincoln and this place popped up that I've never heard of. The reviews were great so we cruised on over. And I'm so grateful it worked out this way. We will definitely be coming back here for gyros from now on!!! And it's local! So excited we found them!

We are new here and wanted to find authentic Gyros. We are from the East coast and pronounced "gyros" wrong. He said, "They say that on the East coast!" He told us the right way to say it. Hilarious, since he could pinpoint where we're from. We came here based on the reviews, and are not disappointed!! We will be back for sure. Just be sure not to go to the corner gyro restaurant next door. We almost entered the wrong restaurant. We wanted to go to the right one with the amazing reviews! Support this local business today! The owner is also super friendly with jokes. Fun time!

Hands down on of the best f***ing Gyros I've ever had! The staff was so friendly and the other customers were saying how great it was as we walked in!

Just above a fast food place in decor but the food is flavorful and made with love by a dedicated owner that serves large portions.

This place is the TRUTH. For $7 get the spicy lamb gyro and have them add some feta on top of the standard yogurt sauce, tomato, onion. The spicy lamb has serious kick but they also have hot sauce if you want to go next level. The two brothers who run the business are the nicest day or night. It's usually pretty speedy but even if it's not it's worth it.

Just an awesome place. There is none like it. Amazing Gyros and steak fries. Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

The best place to get gyros in Lincoln. The potatoes are good especially the yogurt sauce that they add on the gyros. Totally recommend this place!

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I also cannot day enough positive things about the folks working. They were SO NICE and so helpful. I got the spanakopita plate and the falafel and I want to eat it again right now. So tasty and such a great experience. I will come back here every time I come to Lincoln.

Great menu choices, if you have never been before I highly recommend a #12. Very friendly atmosphere and some of the most authentic gyros I have had in Lincoln.

A staple of downtown Lincoln, a consistently good quality gyro, and some very patient and friendly guys who have to put up with all kinds of nonsense from drunks, bums, and Husker fans on game day. Love coming to this place whenever I'm in Lincoln.

I am from Chicago originally visiting Lincoln, Nebraska. As me and my honey road around on Valentine's Day I noticed the sign for Gyros, which I grew up enjoying. Ali Baba Gyros served me a hot & spicy gyro plate. He not only served a great plate he showed great customer service to us. We will definitely go back again if we visit another time. 1st time eating gyros. I had the hot and spicy gyro sandwich. It was very meaty. I like my sandwich with more veggies. But not bad at all.

This place offers friendly service and great gyros until late. What's not to like? Pro-tip: Try the "Spicy Z Plate."

The best gyro in town at the best price. Try the chicken kabob sometime, its excellent but does take 20 minutes. Love the steak fries.The owners are very friendly and happy to chat with you. The only drawback is they don't like to take credit cards but they will if that's the only option. Wish I had some pictures to post.

The best gyro I've ever had

The staff was very friendly and gave many options on items and what comes with them. My friend and I ordered gyros and they were amazing. I also never been a big fan of baked potato wedges but they were soft and tasted great. My friend enjoyed her gyro as well. I also did not realize that the owner was a customer of where I used to work, so got to see a familiar face. Great service and food, I'll definitely return and hopefully my friend will come again too.

I asked if I could have extra portion and I got charged $5 extra which is fine but sadly the portion I received was the SAME and when I complained to the people working there, they told me that it wasn’t the same. My total $16 for some gyro and fries and I was very upset about it.

Ali Baba's Gyros has a good on line rep but my own personal visit was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the basic Gyro sandwich with fries and I understand that some prefer the fries placed under the meat but I do not. It seems to give the appearance of there being more meat on the sandwich than there really was. A creamy sauce was put on top and I found that to be somewhat tasteless. The meat was somewhat gristly and the meat under seasoned compared to Gyro meat I've had in the past.

I love this place. I have been coming for years. Love the Z plate.

You have found yourself in Lincoln Nebraska. Recall references to Nebraska in "The Unforgiven" Take heart, you have arrived at the threshold of greatness. Go to 14th and "O" and go hungry because this is not only the best gyro it may very well be the biggest. Get the Z plate and bring a friend to help eat it unless, you are like me, a shameless glutton. Your going to feel it for a long time but you will never forget. I love this place.

Love this place haven't been there in years and for the life of me can't figure out why. I will be back. Parking is a little difficult to find but there is a parking garage near by. The gyro was delicious and the service was great. I will be back soon to try the chicken because it looked awesome and the people next to me said it was phenomenal.

The fresh food, the wonderful menu, all made in a homey kitchen by a super sweet man, you bet it was worth traveling over 3 hours to eat. Loved it, and will be back for more

Ali Baba gets my vote for the best traditional gyro in town. (Dafodil makes a great gyro, but it's different.) Steak fries are the best, and they make a mean burger!
